Welcome to Friends of Raytown Parks
Certain things in this world cannot be measured - the value of parks and green space. These irreplaceable assets in the community contribute to our quality of life and have economic, environmental, health, community development and educational benefits.
Even in economic downturns, families have a place to go and play, a place where citizens can find solace, stay fit, and socialize. Unfortunately, Parks & Recreation departments, locally and across the country, have faced severe budget cuts.

The Friends of Raytown Parks & Recreation, Inc. was incorporated in 2007 to create a partnership with the Raytown Parks & Recreation Board for fund raising and to foster and promote public awareness and support of our parks, open spaces, recreational activities, services and resources.
